Your goal is to achieve higher average power at same aerobic HR indicating improved aerobic function, a positive training effect. Decreases in aerobic function indicate an adjustment in training, diet, and/or lifestyle are needed.

With this test we can determine your current Fatigue Rate (FR), how much power decreases as duration doubles. FR allows us to set training zones (including FTP) and determine athletes training focus between strength/speed vs. endurance.
CYCLING SPECIFIC STRENGTH TRAINING.
All of v4.2 plans now include our most up to date cycling-specific strength training progressions to compliment your cycling training program to enhance your overall strength, mobility and injury resistance for improved performance.
We’ve honed our strength training programs in over the years in our training studio and now they’re available in the TrainingPeaks app for you to follow on your own at home or at the gym. Each program includes a detailed list of exercises, rep schemes, load suggestions and video examples.
