Meet husband & wife, Cody & Kathy Waite. As business owners, coaches, parents of three teenagers, and elite athletes they know how to balance the stress of life with training to achieve maximum sport performance. Combining their individual strengths they created their brand Waite Endurance to form a dynamic coaching team helping you achieve your best self.


It’s said that two heads are better than one, and this has never been more true with Waite Endurance. Combined, Cody & Kathy have all the bases covered from planning, programming, communicating, connecting and making sure every athlete they work with receives the attention they require for success.

The Commander...

With over 20 years of bike racing and triathlon racing experience under his belt, with most of those years racing at the elite level, Coach Cody brings a boat load of experience to his coaching. In 2003, Cody founded his coaching company Endurance Performance Coaching with the intent of helping others achieve their goals in endurance sport racing. Over the last 14 years Cody has grown as a person (becoming a step dad of 3 young girls), an athlete (as one of the top ranked elite XTERRA racers in the US for 10 years, now focused on elite Masters MTB racing), and as a coach (always seeking out the most effective training strategies as a USAC Level 1 & USAT Level 2 coach). Never far from a good tan and a clean shave, Cody works hard at making coaching, training and racing his profession, and enjoys working with other athletes of similar character.

A fit and fun mother of three and wife of one, Coach Kathy’s youthful enthusiasm keeps her athletes on their toes and working hard. With a background in track and cross country running throughout her high school and college years, and degree in Physical Education, Kathy enjoys encouraging others to strive for excellence in sport and fitness. Learning to swim and ride as an adult (becoming a strong triathlete and mountain bike racer in her own right) combined with her USAT Level 1, USA Weightlifting, and CrossFit L2 coaching experience she is well equipped to help other athletes learn, improve, and perform. Kathy joined Cody in building their training and coaching business in 2011 and has since become an integral part of the WE coaching team and the reason many people keep coming back for workout after sweaty workout.


It’s easy to tell someone what to do, and another to actually do it. We live, breathe, eat, and sleep: health, fitness & endurance training. Not to say that we’re not well-rounded people, but more so that we are “all in” on making sure our athletes perform at their highest level. We feel it’s equally important to set an example ourselves of how it can be done and hopefully inspire others along the way.

Live in the Denver area? Every Fall & Winter WE lead 50 local athletes through our Base Builder Strength & Cycling programs to improve their fitness and reach higher level of performance come Spring.
