We’re thrilled to welcome back one of our OG female #WEdevelopment riders from the inaugural 2019 season (in black kit) — @sofiawaite! 🔥

After 8 years of racing, Sofia is beyond psyched to share the knowledge and experience she’s gained with the next generation of junior female XCO racers.

She kicked off her racing career at 15 and just wrapped up 4 years in the U23 field. Now, as she steps into her elite career in 2026, she’s ready to give back and help the next wave rise. 💪

🏆 Career Highlights:
• 2x Junior National Champion
• U23 National Champion
• 4x World Championship appearances
• 12+ World Cup starts
• 2 years on USA Cycling National Team
• 2 seasons racing with BH Coloma World Cup Team

Coach Sofia will be taking on a small group of 15-16 & 17-18 junior women focused on XCO racing. She’ll be backed by her Waite Endurance coaches and using the same programming that supported her own rise through the ranks.
